The sushi and sashimi combo is sooo good here.

Food cold and they wouldn't bring fresh out. Sad part it was noon when things should of been fresh. They were not busy

I stay in Kansas city Missouri and when I travel here for work, I do my best to get my meal from here. True, authentic meals. Large portions, popular dishes, expensive looking dishes but very affordable....and GOOD!

I love this place. From the friendly hibachi guys, to the amazing unforgettable food, this place is an all in one package. Albeit, an expensive package, it is definitely worth it for special occasions, or family get togethers.

It's the middle of the continent and yet they have decent selection of sushi, sashimi, etc.

Excellent sushi for a small town, fair prices, wonderful service. They brought out chopstick trainers for my children which was great to keep them entertained while we enjoyed our meal.

Just love the food mostly because I love sushi. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our group of eight. Everyone had a great time I love the atmosphere of the place. One of my friends kids even found out that he loves the soup they served at the beginning and ate just that for his meal. We all had leftovers when we where done. Good place in town for some sushi if you can't get up to Omaha or Lincoln.

Best sushi in 100 miles. Great assortment of raw and cooked fish sushi. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it. I fed my family of 5 with five cools and a side of fried rice.

This place is definitely in my top 5 picks in kearney. We were pleasantly surprised by how fresh and tastes everything was. They really pay attenion to details and do there best to make quality and good looking food!

Visited this place for the first time and was blown away. Egg rolls were amazing and the crab sushi was even better!! Absolutely would reccomend to anyone. Price also 100% fair

They have great food. This resturant has a great staff that speak english and their food is great. Lunch time they are really busy so go before noon or afternoon. We always get our sushi here. We feel as if it's better quality and has more roll options that the new place in town. It's great quality and more affordable too. We've eaten here dozens of times and have never gotten ill. I recommend the Papi Roll (I opt for no spicy mayo though).

It's not a place for a quick bite because the sushi takes quite a while to be served but the food is definitely worth the wait. Atmosphere is moderately laid back, not terribly fancy.

Never thought we'd find a replacement for The Blue Fish chain in TX and CO but this place is very impressive for a small town. Best sushi I've ever had in Nebraska. Pretty good Japanese cuisine for a Chinese owned place. Menu has gotten a bit smaller over the years, the variety has decreased a bit so now it's mostly sushi, but good sushi at that. Still my favorite place in town for a quick bite. Service has always been top notch, even at rush times. Only thing that irks me is that they're closed on Tuesdays. In a hurry? Order online; their takeout service is top notch and the packaging and presentation is always well put-together.

This is one my wife's and my favorite places to eat in Kearney. It has very good Japanese food and the prices are pretty reasonable. they have a very good selection of both raw and cooked types of sushi. They also have dinner plates that you can choose from as well.

I absolutely love the sushi rolls here. Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Prices are on the top of my budget but it's because I always order too many things. Yummy!

I visit Kearney once every few months for business and have the hardest time finding a good place to eat.. not anymore!! Gourmet House will definitely be someplace I visit every time I am here. Service was fast and friendly and the food was WONDERFUL!! Fresh with tons of flavor!! This place is amazing!

Food was fine.. service ( take out due to current situation) was fine... problem was the multiple hairs found in the food... on the food. Not very encouraging for a return trip...

After a long day of traveling, I was starving and ordered food on Door Dash. After placing my order and paying, I received a phone call that the restaurant only HALF of the items that I had ordered. Half? What kind of restaurant advertises a full menu and only has half? A true disappointment!

I had the gyoza and shoyu ramen and it served fast and was absolutely delicious. If you see this place go in and order something you will not be disappointed.
